Cresco, Iowa - Cresco, Iowa, is an old, picturesque,
Northeast Iowa town known for, among other things, being the home
of Norman Borlaug, the 1970 Nobel Peace Prize winner. It was also
the home of the world's first flight attendant, Ellen Church. One
cannot overlook the fact that Cresco is also home of five admirals
and the Iowa Wrestling Hall of Fame. The Crestwood Senior High,
Junior High, and Elementary Schools have an excellent educational
program, along with many great extra-curricular activities.
