 Janis Rockabrand, PA-c, announced her plans to retire from her medical practice at the end of February, 2012.
Janis said, "I am grateful to be able to transition into retirement. I have worked half time at the Cresco Medical Clinic for the past year, and I will continue to pitch in at the clinic on the occasions when they are short-handed. I will also continue to make weekly nursing home rounds at the Cresco Care Center and Evans Memorial Home. I have enjoyed working at the clinic and will really miss seeing patients there. Cresco is a great place to live, work, and will be a great community to retire in".
Janis is looking forward to having more time to enjoy her pastimes of reading and oil painting, and to spend more time with family and friends. Janis and Jim are also looking forward to havng the opportunity to travel and volunteer overseas, similar to the work they have done through the Peace Corps.
